Terms of Service

Last updated: October 15, 2026

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of Undercart (undercart.co): the web application, the REST API, the MCP connector for AI assistants, and the Chrome extension (together, the “Service”). Undercart is operated by Noam Szpiro(“Undercart”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you agree to them on its behalf.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or be using Undercart for an organization that permits it. You are responsible for activity under your account, including requests made with your API keys and by AI assistants you connect. Keep your API keys secret, and don’t share your account or keys with other people.

3. What the Service provides

Undercart compiles information about Shopify stores from public sources: the stores’ own websites, public web datasets, public ad libraries, and newsletters we subscribe to. Revenue figures, order counts, traffic ranks, ad-spend figures and similar numbers are modeled estimates. They are not reported or audited financials. Detected technologies, ads and emails reflect what we observed at the time we checked. We work to keep the data accurate, but we don’t guarantee that it is complete, current or correct. Don’t rely on it as the only basis for an investment, credit, legal or other consequential decision.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

You may use the data for your own business purposes, including research, prospecting and analysis, and share reasonable excerpts with your colleagues and clients.

5. API, connector and third-party services

The API and MCP connector are part of the Service and covered by these terms. When you connect Undercart to an AI assistant or another client, that client is a third-party service. Your use of it is governed by its provider’s terms, and we aren’t responsible for how it uses or presents the data we return. The Service also relies on third parties such as Google for sign-in and Stripe for payments.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

The free plan includes a monthly allowance of store lookups and searches. How usage is counted is described in our documentation. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, which may add applicable sales tax or VAT. They renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on the Billing page. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and we don’t refund partial periods unless the law requires it. We will give you notice before a price change takes effect. A change applies from your next billing period.

7. Your content and feedback

Lists, alerts, notes and settings you create stay yours. You let us store and process them to run the Service for you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Our rights

The Service, its software and its compiled dataset belong to us. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and the data it provides while your account is in good standing.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the Service or other users at risk, or is required by law to be closed. Where reasonable, we will tell you first. Sections 3, 8, 10 and 11 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we update the date above. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
